It can be mixed easily with other raw materials. It can be used in cosmetics as an alternative to Shea butter and Cocoa butter. Berry wax can be combined with natural and artificial resins, glycerides, and animal and vegetable oil.

Myrtle wax is unique in that it spreads easily and has high hardness. It reacts positively to cosmetic formulations because it is resistant to stickiness, emulsion and other chemicals.

You can use it in many hair styling products. It can be found in shampoos, conditioners and sprays. It makes combing easier and has great holding properties. It is also found in sun- and skin-care products, pumps, towels, and other items.

Berry wax, made from bayberries, is a very popular wax. Vegans won't use beeswax, and most won't use cosmetics made with animal waxes. Natural Bayberry oil is a healthy, all-natural substitute. It helps formulations last longer, and makes them feel smoother.
