What is Ozokerite Wax?

Image
It's called "fossil wax" or "mineral wax," and it's used in lipsticks, moisturisers, and deodorants. Ozokerite is a solid yellow-to-brown wax that is also called "mineral wax." Historically, ozokerite was found in coal and shale deposits. It is mostly made up of paraffinic hydrocarbons. The raw wax is found and then boiled, treated with sulfuric acid, and filtered with charcoal to make sure it is clean enough. It is free from chemicals and pesticides Organic farmers do not use chemicals to enhance or accelerate the growth of their crops. Organic fruits and vegetables grow according to a seasonal cycle and are available only when they are in season. People expect any and all products all year round in our consumer-driven soc...

Why Only Use Certified Organic Oils

Image
Certified Organic oil must be certified by third parties in order to be free of conventional pesticides.   This means the oil was made from organic farmers who did not use pesticides or artificial chemicals. Why not choose organic oil whenever possible?   Organic oil is better for the environment than conventional oil.   Organic farming practices improve soil health and prevent harmful chemicals entering water sources such as streams.   The use of conventional pesticides can also result in a decline in wildlife diversity and the population. Organic farming is also less likely to produce greenhouse gases than traditional farming, and it is more efficient in terms energy consumption.   Organic oils are better for the environment and for our health. However, there is one caveat.   It is possible to still use organic oils.   Many growers don't use pesticides, but can afford organic certification.   Pesticides are not required for most plants th...
